Grand Paris Express:
the neighborhoods that are changing
“A new station changes a neighborhood long before it opens.”
The Grand Paris Express is the largest transport project in Europe: around 200 kilometers of automated lines and 68 new stations around Paris. Line 14 was extended in 2024 to Orly airport in the south and Saint-Denis Pleyel in the north, and the new lines will open gradually, from 2026 to 2031 depending on the section.
A new station cuts journey times, attracts shops and businesses, and supports property prices. The effect often begins before opening, as soon as the work become visible: that is when the best opportunities are found.
We know these areas well, having completed many sales there: Asnières-sur-Seine and Gennevilliers around Gabriel Péri, a future stop on line 15, Saint-Denis Pleyel, Villejuif, Ivry-sur-Seine and Le Kremlin-Bicêtre.
The criteria for investing well near a future station:
- The actual walking distance to the station
- The line’s opening schedule
- Development projects around the station
- The price per m² compared with neighborhoods already served
A word of caution, though: not every neighborhood will benefit in the same way. We analyze each project for you, station by station, to tell real opportunities from promises.
